What are Virtual Reality-based Training and Augmented Reality-based Training?

Virtual Reality-based training is a digital simulation of lifelike scenarios for training purposes that learners typically experience using equipment like headsets. Virtual Reality-based training provides learners an immersive learning experience that simulates real-life scenarios.

Augmented Reality-based training is training content where virtual elements like graphics, videos, and sounds are superimposed onto a real-world environment.

Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Training for Channel Partner Training

Virtual and Augmented Reality training is very useful when you have to train a globally distributed audience like your Channel Partners, Resellers, Certified Agents, etc. VR and AR training can be utilized instead of shipping expensive training equipment or requiring learners to attend training at physical locations. With VR and AR training your extended enterprise can receive simulations of lifelike scenarios before they go out to represent your company.

Augmented Reality Training with NetExam

NetExam mobile app supports “Visual Search” where a learner uses the camera to browse a physical item to see if there’s any related training. An example would be a certified repair person using NetExam mobile with the camera to see if there’s any training related to the appliance/equipment they are tasked to repair.
